Forgot to snap pictures of the exhaust - whoops. I painted the interior of the OEM finishers gloss black to give the illusion of depth. Looks better but Magnas are needed...

DuraShield+ Clearbra Removal... At a Cost

As if razor etching in the paint wasn't bad enough, the clear coat came off with the crappy clearbra salting my wounds. The wizard installer apparently used a harsh cleaner and didn't sufficiently wipe down the service before application. Thank God comprehensive insurance picked up the tab.

The Nightmare Continues

The business owner's (who is supposedly a certified DuraShield+ installer) idea of a fix - pop the bubbles with a pin, color the film with a Sharpie, and get the Hell out of dodge before the customer shows up. Picture my delight. It's not over...

DuraShield+ Clearbra: The Nightmare Begins...

Ridiculous clearbra installation. Plenty of bubbles, an orange peel effect that appears to be fingerprints on the tacky side of the material, and peeling from the fixtures after only a couple days' use. I suspect the installer did not have access to a 2011 kit and freehanded the install, evidenced by the material not wrapping around the edges/seams and the wonderful razor etches in the corner cuts. The car had all of 30 miles at the time of installation.

Time for an Upgrade

After some back and forth and test driving the Accord V6 EX-L sedan won over the Crosstour. A nice step up from the old 2001 Civic grocery getter. It served us well but it just seems so small now.
