The iSimple device piggybacks onto the XM input at the headunit and has a standard dock connector that can reach a few feet into the cabin. I routed it through the steering column. For this application I needed a dock to lightning cable from Apple and had to dremel the connector down a bit.
So in short: XM port on the headunit --> underside of back dash --> steering column --> Apple short cable
Also, where did you get your trunk tail light strips? i like those better than the stock deflectors, and are they compatible with the stock accord trunk; as in just switch out the deflectors for the led light strips, or do you have to get a new trunk lid too?

Trunk bars may be ordered directly from Eagle Eyes. You do need the trunk garnish as the reflectors are not as deep as the lights.
